Last night we went to my husband's office holiday cocktail party! Thought I would share a few photos! I wore a simple little "vintage" dress that I picked up a few months ago for about $20!

I just love buying vintage and then tweaking the details a bit. This dress needed very minor alterations...I just had the dated "mock turtleneck" detail removed and nipped in the waist a bit (although think it could use a bit more refining in the torso). Not bad for a total of about $35! The dress reminds me of last seasons Prada or Marni a bit!!! Red satin J Crew clutch, gold Kate Spade pumps, wooden bangle, cute husband, and we were out the door!!!

This week I thought I would share my latest "etsy art" finds! One of the things I love about shopping etsy is that you can score great art at amazing prices...and you are supporting the artist directly! The piece above is printed on a vintage dictionary page...and is only $15! I imagine this piece in a simple modern white frame....might even need to add this one to my collection!!!!

Thought I would share a few quick photos from my current project. Recently, I have had the pleasure to be working with a lovely young family on the design concept for the construction and interiors of their dream home! While "construction" is under way- they are renting a beautiful old tudor.

So we decided to do a quick update to the rental space....to make it feel a bit more like "home"!!! We still have some art to hang and white lacquer barstools to add around the island....but it certainly is beginning to reflect the "hip/relaxed vibe" of this great family!!!
