Love the combination of "sweet" bunk beds meets "sophisticated" art wall in this children's room spotted in the latest issue of Lonny! You are never too young to enjoy art.....and what a wonderful wall to be inspired by as they play!!!
Thought I would share some photos from the halloween party that Oden and I hosted tonight! We had so much fun (and way too much sugar)!!!
Normally I don't get very into halloween decorations....probably because I am not such a huge fan of the typical orange and black color palette! But, when I saw these darling cards from Rifle....I was inspired! What do you think of our not so traditional "black+ white" spin on Halloween?
My dear friend, Katherine just turned 40 last week!!!! Hard to believe so much time has passed since the days when we were "swapping" clothes back in 7th grade!!! Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to the fabulous celebration her husband planned in SF- but I did get a treat in the mail!
........a little sparkle (jewelry) and my "favorite" Kate Spade candle!
......adorable red loafers for $41 at Talbots!!!! Think they might actually be cuter than the Tory Burch version! Maybe you are luckier than me and they will have your size!!!
I'm just so taken with these lovely photos from the Animal Print Shop .....discovered via Babble.com! I'm picturing one of these fabulous photos supersized in a child's room. So modern...yet kid friendly and unexpected!
I just "scored" these adorable "jelly ballet flats" from my local J Crew for $34.99!!! I am beyond excited!!! Love the color and they are super comfy... they actually look like patent leather!!! I think I have found my new fall "staple"! Check out all the amazing colors on line...I might need the olive and blue too!!! Hurry...they are going quickly!!!
I Just came across this sweet picture of Oden getting ready to leave for nursery school....he had recently turned three and decided he wanted to dress himself (yes...the tie was his "vision").
The second photo is Oden's first day of kindergarten just before his sixth birthday! I Can't believe how quickly they grow....but isn't it funny how he still stands exactly the same way!!! Love that boy!!! I am a very lucky mom!!!!
I just can't stop thinking about these lovely pieces from Brooklyn designer Paul Loebach at West Elm! I hope they are still in stock when move in the new house.... and know what we need!!!
I'm starting to think about Christmas! I actually like to start my shopping early so that I don't feel panicked come December. Wouldn't these darling little clocks make perfect stocking stuffers....and only $10!
I am so ready to begin Friday with a clean plate! My "to do" list is nearly complete!!! Oden's "school bake sale" cupcakes are out the door!!! Pink boxes from Martha Stewart at Michael's!
Do you have a favorite way to package treats? Starting to think about Christmas......
